Hi- We adopted a male grey tabby kitten from Jeannette and picked him up Dec. 27.
We have a 7 year old male cat in our household and wanted a kitten as we thought
the older cat would accept a kitten better.  I wanted Benney but he was too big to
bring into the house.  I see he is no longer listed.  Please tell me he found a good
home.  He was my first choice and would have taken him in a second if we didn't have
another cat in the house.  Attached are a few pics of Kolby who has brought alot of life into this house after we lost our 12 year old grey tabby last summer.  He is a bundle of
energy and very entertaining!  Thanks so much for all you do.  Please know your efforts are extremely worthwhile and appreciated.   Ron [1/2/2006]
Diane at pawprints said we should enter Kolby in the cover model contest.  Didn't
remember what challenges a kitten in the house presents but worth EVERY entertaining
moment from his times at rest to his rocket energy when he wakes up.  He is the new energy of the househould and even the older cat seems intrigued by him.  attached are a few more pics.  Thanks for all you do-  Ron [1/25/2006]
It has been awhile since I have updated.  Kolby (who we nicknamed Billy)
is purring loudly on my lap as I type this.  He is now a little over a year
and a half.  He has calmed down quite a bit and even though he is the
younger one, he actually started grooming our older cat who loves every minute.
They took awhile to adjust to each other but are the best of friends now.  They
eat, sleep and play together and nothing warms our hearts more than seeing
them interacting.  Attached are a few pictures.  They are the light of this household.
2 are of him with our older cat, one is of him participating in our nightly game of
yatzee, and on is of him "discovering" the ceiling fan and trying to figure out how to
get at it.  (He almost did!)  Ron [5/19/2007]
